When I was asleep, I had weird and gorey nightmares and this comic was my way of sort of understanding why I couldn't get them out of my head when I wasn't asleep. it's a lot of gross navel-gazing. Most of my work is. Most art is! But it's coming to a head with an upcoming section of the story. A dreamy vision that sort of got this ball (comic) rolling originally. And all it took was a little over three years to get here. Big lessons in all of this for me. Lessons like: why wait three years to set this horse shit up. Lessons like: my butt hurts from sitting down all day. and more.
